A Rayville councilwoman is presently going through felony expenses following an investigation by Louisiana State Police.

Deborah James, 53 was charged with easy battery of individuals with infirmities and public intimidation.

In accordance with authorities, Rayville Police contacted the Monroe Area Workplace of the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations on Jan. 10 to research a criticism in reference to an alleged bodily altercation involving James, and the threatening of cops.

Upon officers’ arrival at a personal residence, James allegedly verbally threatened them with lack of employment if she was arrested.

Louisiana State Police is presently serving because the lead investigative company. The investigation stays energetic and ongoing.  There isn’t any additional data accessible presently.
