Potential jurors in Robert Bowers trial scheduled to make first journey to federal courthouse on Monday

The path for Robert Bowers is about to take an enormous step ahead. Bowers is accused of killing 11 individuals contained in the Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill in Oct. 2018.

Potential jurors will begin to arrive on the federal courthouse in Downtown Pittsburgh Monday morning.

12 jurors and a handful of alternates shall be chosen to listen to the case towards Robert Bowers.

There are going to be two periods for potential jurors. One will happen at 9 a.m. and a couple of p.m. on daily basis. They may also be launched to the prosecution and protection attorneys.

They’ve been summoned to look, to fill out juror questionnaires to determine if they’ll serve on the jury. Questionnaires shall be crammed out in a secured personal room within the courthouse.

The courtroom will use the juror’s responses to slim the pool.

Jury choice is slated to start out on April 24.

If Bowers is convicted he may face the demise penalty.
