In an emotional interview with Dr people In October, the Back to the Future star said his condition had ‘worsened’ and left him unusually ‘short for a man’ after his cheek, hand, shoulder and arm were broken, and his mother Phyllis died aged 92 last year.

The actor had previously cited 2018 as his worst year, when he underwent spinal surgery to remove a tumor, after which he broke his left arm.

He said: ‘I broke my cheek, then my arm, then my shoulder, put a replacement shoulder in [right] arm, then I broke my elbow. I’m 61, and I’m feeling it a little too much.’

‘I was never really cranky, but I was very cranky and short with people. I try to nip it in the bud,’ added the talented star.
