Rep.-elect George Santos (R-N.Y.) allegedly admitted to utilizing a stolen checkbook in Brazil in 2008, CNN reported Wednesday.
Based on a sequence of Brazilian police paperwork obtained by the outlet, Santos confessed to stealing a person’s checkbook that was in his mom’s possession. He then allegedly admitted to utilizing the checkbook to buy clothes at a store outdoors Rio de Janeiro.
