Coronation Street’s Mikey North accidentally dropped a bag of £20 notes while filming a tense scene for the soap opera earlier this month.

The actor, 35, who plays Gary Windass in the ITV classic, made the hilarious blunder before crew members hurriedly collected the cash as the camera stopped rolling.

It was seen slipping on a bag full of cash to a pair of thugs, in a sequence where they were supposed to take the money and go.

Gary buried the body after the incident, which happened two years ago, believing he had left the ordeal in the past.

Killer Gary spent two years getting away with murder, but Laura (Kel Allen), Kelly Neelan’s terminally ill mother, became determined to find out what happened to her ex Rick.

Laura hired a private detective forcing Gary to answer some very tricky questions.

But when news reached the detective from the property development where he had buried Rick’s body, it looked like the house of cards was about to collapse.

Mickey’s character Gary was bothered by a security guard who said he was filmed. Police and forensics later attended the scene after finding a body at the construction site.

Meanwhile, on the cobbles, Imran Habeeb (Charlie De Melo) is about to be involved in a car accident alongside his on-screen partner Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) as they are seen lying oblivious in spectacular new photos.

This dramatic week of episodes begins with a flashforward from Imran leaving a chilling message to Toyah in which he reveals everything.

With emotions boiling, the stakes are at their highest as Abi, Kevin, Imran and Toyah face off.

The soap will air half-hour episodes Monday through Friday at 7.30pm as the shocking custody fight for baby Alfie continues to spin out of control.
